Andrew Alpaugh Blast From the Past

11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. 12 It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, 13 while we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.

A few days ago I laid Bryson down for a nap with no pants on since it was kind of warm and thought he might get too hot. Well... wouldn't you know, the first time I do that he has a huge poopy and we found him covered in poop from head to toe! How gross! Andrew quickly got him to the tub while I was getting all the blankets and sheets out of his crib to put in the wash. It also had got on his bumper pad so I took that out and washed it as well. So, on to the reason for this post. After washing everything, I decided I wasn't going to put the bumper pad back in and that he didn't need it anymore. Besides- it's such a pain to untie all the ties every time I have to remove the sheet and such. So, tonight, I go in to check on him and this is what I found. Couldn't resist snapping a few pictures. Might just have to put the bumper pad back in the crib!

Bryson's 18 month mark went by without me posting a thing about it! He had his 18 month check-up today as well as shots :-(. He weighed in at 26 pounds and was 34 inches tall. They were a little concerned that he had lost a couple of pounds since his last visit. Not sure why they made such a big deal about it but it is what it is. Maybe he' s going to be tall and skinny like his uncle. :-) They also pricked his little finger to get blood to check his counts. Everything was normal. It is so amazing to just watch him grow and learn so much every day. He has 12 teeth total now. All 4 molars came in at around the same time! Wow! That was rough. Some of the words he has come out with most recently are... Emmi, dirty, snowman (sounds like noman LOL) snack, please, and the best of all I love you which sounds like I wuv ooo- so precious! We love to hear this. Time goes by so quickly, before you know it he'll be turning 2!
