Bryson doing the Dinosaur Hokie Pokie

Bryson eating mac-n-cheese

Up until the last couple of days I have not been brave enough to let Bryson go at it with a fork or spoon and I did not want to clean up the mess either. This is his first attempt at using a fork and as you can see he mostly used his fingers. :-)

Today was the day!

While we were on vacation Bryson decided he wasn't going to stay in his pack-n-play in the morning and both mornings decided to climb out. I was thinking oh-great! I hope he doesn't start climbing out of his crib when we get back home. We got home Sat. night, but Sunday is an early morning for him so he wouldn't of had the chance since we had to wake him up, didn't happen Monday or Tuesday but guess what? Today I heard Bryson playing in his crib, but it sounded really really loud! I come up the stairs and see the light on coming from the crack under his door. I open it and this is what I see! Neither of our other children EVER climbed our of their cribs! We can only assume that the little black table by his crib helped him along. No one knows though! The sides of his crib aren't very tall so we are sure it was the side that he climbed out of. This is going to be a nightmare!!

The Power of the Cross

Oh, to see the dawn Of the darkest day: Christ on the road to Calvary. Tried by sinful men, Torn and beaten, then Nailed to a cross of wood. This, the pow'r of the cross: Christ became sin for us; Took the blame, bore the wrath— We stand forgiven at the cross. Oh, to see the pain Written on Your face, Bearing the awesome weight of sin. Ev'ry bitter thought, Ev'ry evil deed Crowning Your bloodstained brow. Now the daylight flees; Now the ground beneath Quakes as its Maker bows His head. Curtain torn in two, Dead are raised to life; "Finished!" the vict'ry cry. Oh, to see my name Written in the wounds, For through Your suffering I am free. Death is crushed to death; Life is mine to live, Won through Your selfless love. This, the pow'r of the cross: Son of God—slain for us. What a love! What a cost! We stand forgiven at the cross. It was cold and dreary Sat. anyways- til around 6 o'clock in the evening then the sun decided to shine! We headed back Saturday evening. Always good to be home! :-) Click HERE if you'd like to see the pics. There are some awesome cute ones of Bryson.

Gift Bag Andrew Alpaugh

Image
Recently, I received a gift bag filled with the following items: a birthday candle, a page from a calendar, a list of words, a thread, and a picture of a baby. I loved what each item symbolized so much that I wanted to share them with you! The birthday candle symbolizes that God knew the day you were born. He ordained the circumstances and people who were involved in your birth. He knew what you would look like and who would welcome you. He knew how much you would weigh, what your cry would sound like, and whether you would be bald or have a head full of hair. (Psalm 139:16) The page from the calendar symbolizes that each of your days was planned before you were even born. He knew how you would spend your days—what your hobbies and interests would be, what your job would be, and who you would share your days with.

MATTERS OF LIFE AND DEATH White House confirms it got 2 million red envelopes President's mail worker claims letter campaign 1 of largest in 35 years Posted: April 06, 2009 8:21 pm Eastern By Chelsea Schilling © 2009 WorldNetDaily The White House mail office has confirmed it received a "deluge" of as many as 2.25 million red envelopes symbolizing the empty promise of lives snuffed out in abortion in a massive campaign that was larger than most White House mailing movements in the last 35 years. White House mail worker "Steve" has handled letters for 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. for more than three decades. Every single package and letter destined for the White House goes through his office. Asked if he has seen a flood of red envelopes bound for the White House, Steve chuckled. "Uh, yes," he said emphatically. "Believe me, they made it here." Steve said while Obama has been occupied in Europe, his administration has no

I Will Rise~Chris Tomlin~

Note to family- want this played at my funeral as well as Amazing Grace-My Chains are Gone. 2 of my favorite songs! (Also- At The Cross by Hillsong) There's a peace I've come to know Though my heart and flesh may fail There's an anchor for my soul I can say "It is well" Jesus has overcome And the grave is overwhelmed The victory is won He is risen from the dead And I will rise when He calls my name No more sorrow, no more pain I will rise on eagles' wings Before my God fall on my knees And rise I will rise There's a day that's drawing near When this darkness breaks to light And the shadows disappear And my faith shall be my eyes Jesus has overcome And the grave is overwhelmed The victory is won He is risen from the dead And I will rise when He calls my name No more sorrow, no more pain I will rise on eagles' wings Before my God fall on my knees And rise I will rise And I hear the voice of many angels sing, "Worthy is the Lamb" And I hea
