Andrew Alpaugh Blast From the Past

Bryson is doing really well practicing his walking. He likes to try and clap and walk at the same time. It's really cute! We do have video of him walking- just waiting for Andrew to upload it for me to post. Maybe we'll get it on over the weekend. He finally got his 2 top front teeth also. :-) They decided to come in at the same time. What a joy! He is at such a fun age and just learning something new all the time. As of last post I mentioned that his only word was da da da. Well- this week it's ba ba ba or bla bla bla. Still waiting for MA! He has said it by accident a couple of times. Well- I guess I shouldn't be so anxious for him to talk. Once he starts I'll probably be wishing he'd be quiet. LOL

Bryson had his 9 month check up today. For the record, He weighed in at 22lbs. and 11ozs. (77%) His length is 29 1/2" (82%) and his head was 18 and 3/4" (95%) He only had to get 1 shot today but this time had to have his finger pricked to check for hemoglobin. He didn't cry when they stuck his finger or when he got his shot. He was very fascinated with the bandaid the nurse put on his finger though. He continues to take 5 or 6 steps here and there but has not mastered walking yet. He tries to go too fast instead of getting his balance and taking his time. Baby food is history now. We've moved on to all people food. And of course he still drinks his bottle. The only word in his vocabulary rignt now is Da da da da da da!! He says it to everyone and everything. I'm looking forward to hearing the ma ma ma ma. He does look at me when he's asked where is mommy. So at least he knows that's my name. Just doesn't know how to say it. It's hard t...

A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20.00 bill. In the room of 200, he asked, "Who would like this $20.00 bill?" Hands started going up. He said, "I am going to give this $20 to one of you but first, let me do this. He proceeded to crumple up the $20 bill. He then asked, "Who still wants it?" Still the hands were up in the air. Well, he replied, "What if I do this?" And he dropped it to the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty. "Now, who still wants it?"
