Dinner Time

Here we are- trying out something new- sweet corn casserole. He did pretty good with this. Bryson doesn't seem to want to eat anything other then fruit. I'm afraid we have a picky eater. He'll eat mixed vegetables but not very happily. Tonight it was so funny- I wish we had gotten him on video (maybe next time) but anyways, instead of just turning his head when the spoon came to him, he took the bite and then went plhhllllllttt and spit it out all over the place- as if to say- I'll get you mommy! What a mess he is! We'll keep trying. He has to learn to eat his veggies! :-)

Great Sale!

We went out tonight! My first time out in a week, well other then going to the dr. and taking the kids to school or picking them up, and actually Andrew did quite a bit of that for me this week. Anyways- seems like I'm starting to get better. We went over to Woodruff Rd. and really wanted to eat at Longhorn but the wait was over an hr. so we ended up at Gatti Town. After we ate, we went over to Old Navy because I had heard on the radio that they were having an extra 50% off already reduced clearance. Well- I couldn't resist sharing some of the great deals we got. Mostly stuff for Bryson since he is growing out of everything ever so fast! We got 2 pairs of pajamas, 2 pairs of jeans, a sweat suit and 4 shirts all for $37.36 and that included tax. What a deal!!

Thursday night we took a trip to Babies R Us and spent some of Bryson's Christmas money. He got a baby pod that he just loves sitting in. Now we just need to find a toy box to put all these new toys in! Make a slideshow - it's easy!

Our 14th Anniversary!

Image
We celebrated our 14th year of marriage on January 1st. My dear sweet husband arranged for my mom and his mom to keep our children so that we could have a night alone. We managed to find a few stores open, even though it was New Years Day. After shopping we decided on dinner at Longhorn. It was delicious! We were too full for dessert! We then headed to our hotel room at the Hyatt in downtown Greenville. It was very quiet and relaxing. We didn't have check out til 2:00 p.m. YES- I said 2:00 p.m so we took advantage and slept in til almost 1:00 p.m. It was GREAT! It's been quite some time since we had a night of un-interrupted sleep or a chance to sleep in together. Thanks so much to both moms for making this possible! :-) We left the hotel and headed to the Mast General Store, one of our favorite places to go downtown. I got a great deal on a purse that was on sale and we picked out some of our favorite candies. :-) They have almost every candy you can think of. After...

Let the good times roll!

My sister-in -law e:mailed me and asked if we'd like to go bowling with them so we spent New Years Eve bowling. We had a really good time. We had 2 hrs., shoes and a pitcher of coke for $50. What a deal. :-) We managed to get in 2 games with 6 people. Didn't keep track of scores- but I know I didn't have the high one! I'm pretty sure Andrew won the first game and Steve beat Andrew by 1 point the second game (107 and 106) if I remember correctly. Anyways- it was fun. Hope we can do it again some time.
