Our 14th Anniversary!

We celebrated our 14th year of marriage on January 1st. My dear sweet husband arranged for my mom and his mom to keep our children so that we could have a night alone. We managed to find a few stores open, even though it was New Years Day. After shopping we decided on dinner at Longhorn. It was delicious! We were too full for dessert! We then headed to our hotel room at the Hyatt in downtown Greenville. It was very quiet and relaxing. We didn't have check out til 2:00 p.m. YES- I said 2:00 p.m so we took advantage and slept in til almost 1:00 p.m. It was GREAT! It's been quite some time since we had a night of un-interrupted sleep or a chance to sleep in together. Thanks so much to both moms for making this possible! :-) We left the hotel and headed to the Mast General Store, one of our favorite places to go downtown. I got a great deal on a purse that was on sale and we picked out some of our favorite candies. :-) They have almost every candy you can think of. After that we headed over to the Olive Garden for the all you can eat bread, salad and soup lunch. YUMMY! We did save room for dessert this time which was black tie mousse cake- our FAVORITE! We had a wonderful time together alone but we really did miss our children and couldn't wait to get back to see them! Looking forward to another great year with the love of my life!
